#TSRUdatez: Rajon Rondo Denies Spitting On Chris Paul & Calls Him A “Horrible Teammate”

#TSRUdatez: Rajon Rondo Denies Spitting On Chris Paul & Calls Him A “Horrible Teammate”

#Roommates, we all saw #spitgate unfold before our very eyes just a few days ago as the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Houston Rockets for the world to see. What was supposed to be a regular season game, quickly turned into a brawl that cost 3 key players to be suspended. But the real gag is Rajon is addressing it for the first time and suggesting Chris Paul isn’t the guy that the media portrays him to be, saying “Everyone wants to believe Chris Paul is a good guy. They don’t know how he treats people.”

If you missed the tea, #BrandonIngram, #RajonRondo and #ChrisPaul all got suspensions based on their involvement in the brawl that went down during their game. It started with Brandon Ingram pushing James Harden and then spilled over to Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul throwing hands. But there’s a plot twist, Rajon has a completely different side of what transpired.

After reviewing the footage, it shows what looks to be Rajon spitting at Chris Paul before hands were thrown, but Rajon is saying it’s not what it looks like y’all! In a press conference with @ESPN Rajon addresses all the claims and even comes for Chris Paul!

In the statement he says: “This is the only time I’m going to address this,” Rondo told @ESPN. “I had a mouthpiece in my mouth and I [was] exasperated because I was about to tell him to ‘get the [expletive] out of here.” He then added: “Look at my body language [in the video]. My hands on my hips. I turn away for a second. Look at Eric [Gordon] and Melo [Carmelo Anthony] in the video. If they saw me spit, they would have turned their face up or something. They had no reaction.”

But here’s where the real tea comes in, he’s alleging Chris isn’t the guy the media thinks he is. He says: “Of course, the NBA went with his side because I got three games and he got two. Everyone wants to believe Chris Paul is a good guy. They don’t know he’s a horrible teammate. They don’t know how he treats people. Look at what he did last year when he was in L.A.; trying to get to the Clippers’ locker room. They don’t want to believe he’s capable of taunting and igniting an incident.
