#WhereTheyAtNow: Child Stars Edition!

Hey, Roommates! We have an awesome #FlashbackFriday for you today. Some of our favorite child stars growing up were #RobertRichard from #CousinSkeeter, #ImaniHakim from #EverybodyHatesChris and #BrandonHammond from #SoulFood! We were wondering what they were up to so get into it below:

Imani Hakim

Do you guys remember Chris’s little sister Tanya on “Everybody Hates Chris”? Well she ain’t so little anymore! Imani has blossomed into a beautiful young lady! She and her boyfriend just celebrated 2 1/2 years together last month.

Imani has also become quite the fashionista and models from time to time with. The actress also keeps up with fans on her blog called “Imani’s World” on YouTube!

She is also still acting and recently shared a short film she did called “Something Wicked” in July.

Robert Ri’chard

Next up is Imani’s #ChocolateCity co-star Robert Ri’chard who we watched on “Cousin Skeeter” and “One On One” alongside #KylaPratt. For the first time, we saw Ri’chard as a grown azz man, playing a stripper in the film.

Robert has such a nice body and the actor attributes it to a fitness plan that he’s developing called Highway Fit. It’s a routine to keep you trim in just under 15 minutes a day.

Brandon Hammond

Y’all know how iconic #SoulFood was right?! Brandon Hammond, who played little Ahmad in the 1997 film, stole our hearts as he tried his best to keep his family together for the sake of a Sunday dinner tradition. The actor had also secured roles in cult classics such as #SpaceJam, #WaitingToExhale and #MarsAttacks!

The now 33-year-old hasn’t appeared in any films since he turned 18 and it’s more than likely because he is aspiring to become a movie director! He is already a screenwriter, so he’s well on his way!
