‘Will & Grace’ Will Be Returning To NBC With 10 New Episodes

‘Will & Grace’ fans have a new reason to celebrate, as it was recently announced that the sitcom will be making it’s return to television with 10 new episodes.

According to Variety, on Tuesday the network announced that the original cast will reunite with the shows creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, as they will serve as the show runners and producers for the new episodes.

The cast first reunited back in September when they shot a 10-minute surprise episode related to the 2016 presidential election. Since then the talks about reviving the show has been in the works.

NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said, “We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back. This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary — all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture — is coming back where it belongs.”

The show first aired in 1998, and went on for eight successful seasons, officially ending in 2006.

The new episodes will be produced and distributed by Universal Television.
