A Texas woman accused of sending homemade bombs to President Barack Obama back in 2016 was caught because of cat hair found under the address label.
TIME reports that 46-year-old Julia Poff was indicted on six counts earlier this month, including mailing injurious articles and transporting explosives with the intent to kill and injure. According to the indictment, she sent mailed the devices in October 2016 to Obama, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, and a third package to the Social Security Administration.
Abbott did open his package but luckily the device didn’t explode.
She’s currently being held at Houston federal detention center, and her pretrial conference is scheduled for early 2018.
