A white woman, now known as #CornerstoreCaroline, is under fire for falsely accusing a young black child of groping her inside of a Brooklyn deli. According to PIX 11, newly released surveillance video proved that the 9-year-old simply walked past her while she was at the counter and his backpack brushed up against her.
“I was wrong,” Theresa Klein told Brooklyn 12 News about calling 911 on the boy. “The child accidentally brushed me.”
“Young man, I don’t know your name,” she added, “but I’m sorry.”

In a viral video of the incident, you can hear #CornerstoreCaroline on the phone claiming that the little boy grabbed her butt. “I just was sexually assaulted by a child,” she said, appearing to talk to the police although authorities said they never received the call. “White lady calling the cops on a Black lady, I get it,” she appeared to say to the boy’s mom. “The son grabbed my a** and she decided to yell at me.”
“Are you seriously calling the police?” an onlooker asked. She went on to argue with Klein “one white girl to another.”
In the video, the little boy was clearing traumatized by her words. It was all caught on camera by neighbor Jason Littlejohn.
Klein also claimed she was a cop herself, however reporters later found out that was a lie.
