Yo Gotti had a concert in Kansas City, Missouri, Friday night and unfortunately the show was interrupted from the sounds of gunfire coming from a nearby parking lot not far from the venue.

According to TMZ, police received a call that someone had been shot and when they arrived on the scene the victim was pronounced dead.
Witnesses told authorities that an altercation had broken out and in the middle of the chaos someone pulled out a gun out and fired it.

Police aren’t sure if the people involved in the fight went to the concert, but strongly believe there’s some connection due to the time of night and how close it was to the venue.

Rapper Dwayne Bowe performed with Gotti and took to Instagram to talk about the situation.

“Great show man, killed the show,” Bowe said. “But this stupid shit has got to stop man. Two people got killed. That shit’s crazy. It was an awesome show man, shout out KC. We got to do better black people, we’ve got to look out for each other.”

Bowe was wrong about the number of people who got killed but he’s still sending a powerful message.
