Zach Randolph signed a $24 million deal with the Sacramento Kings earlier this summer after an 8-season run with the Memphis Grizzlies. Unfortunately his time Cali took a left turn after he was arrested on the charges of drug possession with intent to sell Wednesday evening.
According to reports, police claim they encountered Zach while responding to a disturbance near a housing project where people were socializing. Police claim they were smoking and blocking the road. The situation ended with Zach and two other people on the scene being placed in handcuffs.
His lawyer says not only are the charges “false and misleading,” but they are furthermore “looking at options to resolve the matter.”
As far as the team is concerned, they released a statement stating that they “are aware of the situation.”
