Angie Martinez Reveals She Put The Paws On Wendy Williams In Memoir

Imagine Wendy Williams in a fight, that would definitely be a sight to see. Thankfully Angie Martinez has come out with a personal memoir, “My Voice: A Memoir” where she spills all types of tea, from her life and even the time she had to pop Wendy Williams!

According to Bossip, Angie was fed up with Wendy saying numerous men in the industry were “undercover.”

“Everybody was gay to Wendy. Every rapper you could think of in that era, I had heard Wendy Williams call them gay. Not one or two. Like every one of them.”

But what caused Angie to put the paws on Wendy was when Wendy shaded Angie and her boyfriend at the time, Q-Tip, on her website. Wendy allegedly wrote ” “One of my co-workers is dating Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest. Oh well. I guess some women like men who like men.”

Once Angie found out what Wendy said, she popped off.

“I lost my f–king mind. Before I knew it I was swinging at her. It was a quick scuffle. It took only a few seconds for me to realize that she wasn’t really hitting me back — she was just trying to get me off of her.”

Thankfully one of their co-workers saw the beatdown taking place and stepped in to save Wendy, and catch this tea, Wendy grabbed a mop in self defense!

“[She] just stood there with it like she wanted to have some sort of sword fight or something. It was actually kind of funny, even in the moment.”

Angie admits that Wendy had it coming but its a thing in the past now.

“The truth is that if it wasn’t me it was gonna be somebody else,” Angie wrote. “She was disrespectful to so many people all the time.

I watch her TV talk show sometimes and she has really mastered her lane. I find myself watching and laughing out loud. I don’t have any ill feelings toward her.”
