With one award show down, another will soon fall upon us, as the nominations for the 2016 Teen Choice Awards have been announced.
Unlike the Billboard Music Awards, the show is not solely focused on just music but some of our favorite artists are still up for awards. Drake, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and The Weekend are just a few that are up for some of the music awards.
Although he mentioned that he isn’t too fond of award shows, Justin Bieber is up for two awards, “Choice Male Artist” and “Song Choice: Male Artist”.
Another artist up for more than one award is Beyoncé for “Choice Female Artist” and “Choice R&B/ Hip-Hop Artist”.
Aside from music, Fox’s hit series “Empire” grabbed a whole bunch of nominations including “Choice TV Show: Drama” and individual nominations for Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett and Terrence Howard.
