Twitter Is Blindsided By The Fact That The Little Boy Who Fell Into Gorilla Habitat Was Black, Mother Speaks Out

The world is crying #RIPHarambe after the gorilla was senselessly slain at the Cincinnati Zoo this weekend. Many on-lookers put the blame on the mother and accused her of being a horrible parent. I mean, who allows their child to get close enough to a gorilla habitat and fall in, right? Some Twitter users originally assumed that the child’s mother was white, because being white is associated with negligence to them, I guess. However, today, thanks to pictures surfacing from the incident, it has been proven that the family was black and Twitter is completely blindsided.

The mother addressed the situation via a Facebook post that was screenshot by The NY Post before her account was deactivated:

“For those of you that have seen the news or been on social media, that was my son that fell into the gorilla exhibit at the zoo. God protected my child until the authorities were able to get to him. My son is safe and was able to walk away with a concussion and a few scrapes . . . no broken bones or internal injuries.’’

Now, if you’re fluent in Twitter Talk, then you know that they speak in memes and the ones regarding this sudden revelation are sure to give you a chuckle or two. There’s nothing like when you’ve caught someone with their foot in their mouth, so check a few of them out below!

1.) When you realized that kid in the gorilla habitat was black:

2.) That awkward moment when you’ve been pre-judging his mother:

3.) “Ruh-Roh”

4.) What a waste!

Roommates, lettuce pray for these hurtful comments toward the mother! She allegedly had six kids with her and lost track of this child. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again!
