Young Thug’s Former Manager Files A $50 Million Defamation Suit Against Thug’s Finance Team; Also Claims They Got The Rapper’s Lights Cut Off

Recently, we exclusively reported that Young Thug’s former manager, Manny Halley, was ordered to cut ties with the rapper. This came after he was accused of writing bad checks and forging the signature of an employee of Thug’s business manager, David Weise.

It was reported that he racked up over $200k on Weise’s employee card.

Well, Manny now wants to sue for defamation after he claims that the accusations are false and have now ruined his reputation, TMZ says.

Halley, who has also managed Keyshia Cole and Nicki Minaj, says the charges were only made in order to cover Young Thug’s private jet bill which he racked up while on tour. He is seeking $50 million in damages because he believes this was all a plan concocted by Weise & Associates to get back at him after Manny tried to get them fired previously.

via TMZ:

“Manny says he knows what’s up…claiming the Weise company bungled YT’s financial affairs to the point his cell phone service and the lights in his home were shut off.
And Manny says before he got trashed he tried to get the Weise company fired, so that’s when they used the email as a preemptive strike.
