Allegedly, passenger Bindoo Ahluwalia, was screened in Margo’s line. Things went smooth but when he left, he was short a wrist watch –a $7k wrist watch.
The watch was reported to be covered in diamonds and was placed in the plastic bin while Bindoo was being checked. Taking advantage of her opportunity, Margo snuck the watch to the bathroom.
She returned to her station and found co-workers searching for the “missing” watch and out of paranoia she left her station once more to destroy it.
Soon thereafter she quit her job and not too long after that was arrested and charged with grand larceny and official misconduct. If convicted, she’s looking at seven years behind bars.
