Whew! Akbar V is letting it be known she likes what she sees when it comes to Dr. Dre.Early Saturday (May 18), she took to X (formerly Twitter) to ask about his relationship status!

And the rising rapper made her interest clear by tagging him in her post.

“Is @drdre dating somebody…? That’s one fine a** old man,” she wrote.

In a follow-up post, she replied to a user who told her to “leave [their] man alone.” “Sister, he so fine,” Akbar V replied. Then she suggested they could be “sister wives” in another reply.

Meanwhile, other reactions to Akbar V’s post were all over the place. Some agreed that Dre is taking IT in the looks department, while others acknowledged past abuse allegations against him. That second part is all the talk right with the viral resurfaced video of Diddy beating up Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016.

As for Dr. Dre, in 2015, he issued a nonspecific apology to the “women [he’s] hurt” after years of domestic abuse allegations against him. Speaking to the New York Times, the music mogul admitted to being a “young man drinking too much” who was “in over [his] head with no real structure” in his life. Still, he said, it wasn’t an excuse for “what [he] did.” However, abuse allegations against him have continued to surface since then.

Elsewhere on her timeline, Akbar V opened up about wanting recognition for her music. The Atlanta native got a big break in her aspiring rap career when Nicki Minaj featured her on the ‘Super Freaky Girl Queen Mix’ in 2022. AK recently joined the superstar to perform the hit song during one of Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour stops.

She explained that she’s about to rebrand, stay out of drama, and lock in on her rap career.
