Okay, so BOOM! Just two days after the ‘Love Island USA’ season 7 reunion dropped on Peacock, winner Amaya Espinal hit her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, August 27, to tell her followers that she and Bryan Arenales have split. If you’ve been tapped in with the show, then you already know Amaya and Bryan snatched America’s hearts and walked away with that $100K bag. But now, Amaya says things just didn’t work out, and they have decided to go their separate ways.

“My papayas – Bryan and I are no longer together. After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys. Our visions didn’t align and relationships are suppose to be a team sport,” Amaya wrote. Sticking to her true, unfiltered personality, she added, “You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty.”

Despite parting ways, Amaya explained that there’s no bad blood between her and Bryan and she “truly wishes him the best.”

Bryan Speaks Out After Amaya Gives Update On Their Relationship

Hours after Amaya revealed her split from Bryan, he hopped on Instagram with his own statement. Bryan said it’s unfortunate they couldn’t make things work, but he’s still grateful for the time they shared.

“Unfortunately, we were not on the same page and that is okay. We have both gained clarity that we are on different paths right now. I am thankful for the time we have spent together and I wish her nothing but the best moving forward,” Bryan wrote.

Even though Amaya just officially announced her split from Bryan, fans had already been buzzing with breakup rumors.
