Roommates, get ready to shed some tears because Angel Reese just did her biggest ONE for her mom, Angel Webb Reese.
The Chicago Sky star went all out for her mother’s birthday. Angel invited her mom, Angel Webb Reese, on her podcast, ‘Unapologetically Angel,’ which dropped on YouTube on Thursday, Jan. 30.
The duo chopped it up for almost an hour about Reese’s rise to fame and her basketball career.But the real tearjerker came when Angel brought out a cake for her mom and then hit her with the sweetest gift ever paying off her mortgage.
You said that if your mortgage was paid off, that you would [retire], or you could pick if you want to work still. So your mortgage today has been paid, Reese told her mother. “Today your mortgage has been paid, you don’t have to worry about your mortgage anymore, and if you still want to work and keep yourself busy, you can keep yourself busy.”
Angel’s mom was completely shook by the news and couldn’t believe it, asking, “Are you serious?”
Angel continued to assure her, “Are you still gonna work? Your mortgage is paid. You don’t have to work anymore.”
Angel then followed up with her own big news, saying she plans to get a house and when she does, her mom can stay with her anytime. In the midst of it all, her mom couldn’t hold back her tears, totally overwhelmed and in disbelief by Angel’s huge gift.
