Angela Simmons is taking that “my man, my man, my man” energy to new heights! The entrepreneur is going viral again, but this time, it’s for a lil’ switch-up she did in a recent interview! Angela, a New York City native, debuted her adopted Southern accent while speaking with ‘The Breakfast Club’ this week.

Angela Simmons Reveals The Inspo Behind Her Newfound Accent

The trending clip, reposted by The Shade Room, starts with Simmons saying, “That’s me, I’m grown that’s what I do.” After she spoke, Charlamagne Tha God jumped in and asked about her time in the South. He pointed out her sudden Southern twang while DJ Envy agreed that there was a switch-up.

Envy then asked her to say the word “music” to Angela Simmons’ new accent. That request caused the hosts and the entrepreneur to bust out laughing!

“It’s probably my man, it’s probably the influence of my man,” Simmons said with a smile.

If you didn’t know, Simmons has been boo’ed up with Yo Gotti for nearly two years. The Memphis rapper finallybagged Angela after publicly shooting his shot since 2015. After multiple sightings together, the couple confirmed their relationship in December 2022 with a lavish photoshoot.
