Ari Fletcher and Tuson Jewell still haven’t squashed their beef. Their friendship has been publicly rocky since he claimed she gifted him a$20,000 birthday check with no intentions of actually delivering on it. Now, Ari is spilling new details about their fallout, dropping receipts, and accusing Jewell of trying to execute a scam.
For context, Tuson went off on Ari via social media on (Aug. 21) over the $20,000 check she gifted him in July. He insisted that the money was just a way for Fletcher to flex and improve her image.
Tuson backed up his decision to call her out publicly by starting a GoFundMe. He claimed that behind the scenes, Ari’s team told him she had cut the amount down to $10,000. But he argued he never saw a dime of the promised cash.
Over the weekend, the Remedy founder replied to an X (formally Twitter) user who accused her of taking her “stuff back,” seemingly referencing the $20,000 birthday check. The post by @__NoRunning has since been deleted, but not before Ari peeped it and clapped back.
“Wrong! I sent the money to the dealership, and a mf tried to get a car in a CPN, and I had no idea of that sh*t because thats f**king illegal, and they voided the application and sent me my money back. Find yall pissy a*s somebody to play with,” the influencer replied.
Soon after, Tuson made it clear he wasn’t ducking any smoke. He jumped into the X convo by quote-tweeting Ari’s post, claiming the car deal got canceled because the dealership never received the payment.
“WRONG! Girl bye car got canceled because they never got payment! But we can let you run with this!! Question tho they sent the money back and you kept it? So is it a gift? Or was it some partial YouTube payment? Since we answering questions Either way $20k became $0,” he wrote on X.
He called the whole situation situation a “joke,” saying Ari was holding onto the money and added that a CPN didn’t exist. “…just give me the money you say you was going to give…like you holding money and dishing it out how you want…talking bout a CPN no babes it’s Rare Smoke LLC,” he wrote.
Ari wasted no time clearing Tuson afterward. She responded to him on X by posting audio of him supposedly on the phone with a lawyer, a car dealership, and the bank. Fletcher said Tuson actually attempted to scam her and almost took her money. She also added that he’s just looking for sympathy and spreading lies about her.
Fletcher kept spilling the tea on X (formerly Twitter) about how she did everything she could to put her former friend in better positions. She said she gave him many opportunities, even helping him land a spot on the BET+ reality show, ‘The Impact ATL.’
The Remedy founder kept venting her frustration over the situation, saying she had all of Tuson’s previous messages. She also revealed that he planned to air her out, and it felt like he’d been plotting on her. “People like you scare me,” she added.
Before clearing Tuson, Ari pulled off a big surprise for her niece’s birthday. The TV star shared a video on her Instagram Stories and other social platforms, showing her gifting her niece a new, paid-off car.
“I got my baby car! Paid in full, no note! Happy birthday princess,” Ari wrote on the video.
Fletcher also jumped on X (formerly Twitter) to share that this was one of her proudest moments. She added that she always wanted to buy her nieces and nephews their first cars. Ari added that taking care of her family is why she works hard.
