Ari Lennox Unveils ‘age/sex/location’ Tour After GRAMMYs Snub

Ari Lennox is coming through for her die-hard fans and preparing to go on a highly-anticipated tour.

The artist specifically announced that she’ll soon embark on a “North American Tour” in celebration of her sophomore album, age/sex/location.

Her Twitter announcement began with a plethora of screenshots that showed fans practically begging for Ari to go on tour, and she captioned the upload, “I heard y’all.”

She also posted an alternate version of the video on Instagram, which featured a brief clip of the R&B singer directly addressing viewers.

“What’s up, y’all! It’s your girl Ari Lennox. The Age/Sex/Location Tour 2023 is coming to a city near you soon,” she says.

She Initially Left Fans With One Important Question

While Ari’s fans were definitely excited over the news, the initial announcement left people wondering about the exact tour dates.

Thankfully, less than a day after unveiling her age/sex/location Tour, Ari issued a follow-up announcement that revealed the dates, as well as the specific cities she’ll be hitting up. It’ll begin in January with a show in Las Vegas, Nevada, and wrap with her Washington, D.C., show in March.

The Announcement Follows A Widely-Condemned GRAMMYs Snub

Ari’s highly-anticipated revelation comes on the heels of her age/sex/location album not receiving a single GRAMMY nomination.

While Ari appeared to only acknowledge the news with her tour announcement, her fans had quite a bit to say.

Ari Lennox Isn’t Alone

Ari isn’t the only R&B songstress who responded to having her work excluded from the 2023 GRAMMY Awards nominations, as Summer Walker—her collaborator on hit projects like “Queen Space” and “Unloyal”—did the same.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Summer sounded off and spoke her mind on the situation.

“& as for the Grammys for a 2nd time, the math is literally not mathing… I was gone post some numbers but it’s ok, at least the streets fuq with me,” she shared. “Y’all always pack out every show & support everytime I drop so thanks for the love I do receive.”

What do you think about Ari and Summer getting snubbed, and are you looking forward to the age/sex/location Tour?
