Whew chile, is it ever that serious? That’s a question many are asking in regards to this sad and bizarre report coming out of Phoenix, Arizona, where a man is accused of choking his daughter over the last slice of pizza.
As reported by @WSBTV, Chipasha Luchembe, 41, is currently facing nine counts of child abuse and four counts of aggravated assault after he allegedly choked his 16-year-old daughter following an argument about the final slice of pizza.
When local police arrived at Luchembe’s home after responding to a child abuse complaint, the teenage victim had a swollen, bruised face, bruises on her abdomen and scratch marks along her neck. Later, when authorities questioned Luchembe about what happened, he admitted that he “became upset” when he discovered that he only had one slice of pizza saved for himself despite asking his daughter to save him more.
Luchembe’s daughter stated that in addition to splashing water in her face, her father also slapped her “a couple of times” and put his hands around her neck.
The police report also details that Luchembe pushed his daughter to the ground, punched her in the stomach, pulled her hair, spat on her and put her head in the sink and allegedly punched her in the face.
Luchembe is set to make his first court appearance for his charges early next week,
