Prayers Up! Rapper Bandman Kevo Announces Passing Of His 15-Year-Old Son (Exclusive Details)

Rapper Bandman Kevo opened up exclusively to The Shade Room about the recent passing of his son Kevian. The 15-year-old died in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The date of the teen’s passing is unclear, but Kevo (real name Kevin Ford) first posted about it on X (formerly Twitter.) He wrote, “RIP Kevian” with two angel emojis.

At the time he spoke with TSR, Kevo said he had been receiving mixed reports about his son’s death. He shared that he’s unsure of the true story and hasn’t been able to reach the teenager’s mother.

Screenshots from Bandman Kevo’s Instagram Story show the artist requesting information about his son’s passing. He implied he was willing to pay with a large money bag emoji and text that read: “Anybody in Kalamazoo know anything about my son death dm me now.”

Details About Bandman Kevo & His Relationship With His Son

Bandman Kevo went on to share that his relationship with his son Kevian wasn’t the smoothest. He alleges that the child’s mother did want the father and son to have a relationship.

However, Bandman Kevo claims he has financially supported Kevian but believes the child’s mother wasn’t using the money to create stability for them.

Additional details about Kevo’s fatherhood with Kevian and his other children are limited. In Dec. 2022, VladTV released an interview in which the rapper admitted having six children with four different women.

In August 2023, he seemingly introduced his youngest child (that we know of) in an Instagram post. The baby girl’s name appears to be Kaniyah Anasha Ford.

The dad appeared in video posts on the child’s public Instagram page on March 3 and Jan 13.
