Yall know we love to hear people share stories about their personal encounters with some of the worlds biggest stars. One person who recently shared a story about one of their encounters was producer Benny Blanco. During a recent interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Benny shared quite a few stories about all of the huge names he has worked with within the industry.
However, one story that seemed to stick out was the story he shared about accidentally kissing Beyonc on the side of her lip as he was saying his goodbye to her one night.
During the interview, he shared that he and a few other people were chilling with Beyonc and Jay-Z at their home in the Hamptons a few years back. He recalled while everyone was making their way out he was attempting to hug Beyonc and kiss her on the cheek as he said goodnight.
Benny said, I remember I go in for the hug, okay? And then, Im like, oh, Im going to kiss her on the cheek, thats like what you do. I went to do like kiss her on the cheek, and I guess we just like missed a little bit, and Im like definitely at the corner of some sort of lip. And Im like Oh my God this is like the worst thing in my life. As Im sitting there, out the corner of my eye Jay-Zs right there looking at me.
He continued to express that he thought it would have been some problems after that moment. “I look at Jay and Im like, Oh, okay. Im dead. My life is over. It was great. Nice knowing you guys,’ he said.
However, things were all good because no one seemed to notice.
He continued to express his gratitude for being in the same room with some of the industry’s biggest names. Although he never worked with her, he expressed that he learned a lot from both Beyonc and Jay-Z.
Benny also shared stories about other artists he’s encountered and worked with, including Drake, Kanye West, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, and many others.
