Bernice Burgos seems to be handling internet drama with ease! She recently sparked social media debates after appearing at Taina Williams’ birthday party in a SUPER similar outfit to her. Amid the reactions, there seemed to be a discussion of her age.
As mentioned, Burgos jumped on social media on April 2 toconfront the trolls calling her “old.”For context, she’s 44 but will turn 45 on April 17. Bernice kept her drag light by saying she’s not to blame for her youthful glow!
“Y’all need to blame my mom or my grandmother [for] why I still look so young. And being in your 40s is not so old. Y’all need to stop saying that. I don’t know who is saying that, but y’all need to cut it with that 40s. It’s people that can’t even make it to 40s at all,” Bernice Burgos said.
The video vixen added that folks should be “grateful” that others are aging gracefully and look “amazing.” Again, she said her age-shaming haters need to blame her mama and not her for her genetics!
Bernice Burgos clocked the alleged age-shaming hours after footage circulated of Taina’s 27th birthday party. Burgos was on the guest list and arrived at the function in a black lace bodysuit with black undergarments underneath.
Williams wore a similar look, and the comment sections quickly turned on Bernice, accusing her of trying to steal Taina’s spotlight. Taina, however, didn’t let the criticisms slide. She stepped into The Shade Room’s comment section to clear the air. “My theme was lace and all black,” she wrote, adding a black heart emoticon.
Conversations about Bernice Burgos allegedly running in “younger” circles have been happening for a hot minute. In January 2024, her daughter Ashley Marie riled up social media after dropping a bombshell about the dating scene. Despite being a grandmother in her 40s, Ashley shared that her mother and her date in the same pool. The conversation took place on Angela Yee’s ‘Lip Service’ podcast.At the time, Ashley also said that her mother “likes ’em young” and that the youngins like her back.
“Guys, be trying to talk to me and my mom. Its so weird, its so weird. And before I write a dude back, I will go to her DM first, just to make sure we straight, we good over here,” Ashley Burgos said.
