Bernie Sanders’ Meme Is Now A Sweatshirt & All Proceeds Will Go To Charity

While we tuned into the inauguration’s festivities to witness history being made, Bernie Sanders and his fashion choices became a meme. Subsequently, he has made the meme into a sweatshirt.

The “Chairman Sanders Crewneck” grey colored sweatshirt, showing Bernie sitting with his legs crossed and looking cozy, is selling for $45.00. The proceeds of the sweatshirt will go to Meals on Wheels Vermont.

In an interview with Seth Meyers of the “Late Night with Seth Meyers Show,” Bernie said, “I was just sitting there trying to keep warm, trying to pay attention to what was going on,” he told Meyers.”

Jen Ellis, the Vermont teacher who made his mittens, stated they were no longer for sale, “Thanks for all the interest in Bernie’s mittens!” Jen Ellis wrote on Twitter. “I’m so flattered that Bernie wore them to the inauguration. Sadly, I have no more mittens for sale. There are a lot of great crafters on ETSY who make them.”

Good idea to turn it into a good deed.

If you recall, the 79-year-old took to Twitter and called out Mitch McConnell for blocking the $2K stimulus check approval.. Bernie tweeted, “All of a sudden Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are worried that someone in America might get a $2,000 check ‘who doesn’t need it.”

Sanders continued, “Funny. They had no problem giving a $1.4 billion tax break to Charles Koch and his family with a net worth of $113 billion. What hypocrisy!”

He also tweeted that Mitch McConell “has the right to vote against this legislation. But he should not have the right to block a vote.”

As you know, the House voted to approve the $2,000 stimulus checks but the GOP-led Senate rejected it.
