Beyoncé Becomes The First Woman To Have Three of Her Albums Surpass One Billion Streams on Spotify

Queen Bey is always known for setting records, and this one is no different.

According to MTV UK, Beyoncé is now the first female to have three of her albums surpass one billion streams on Spotify.

On Monday, Beyoncé’s 2011 album “4,” reached one billion streams on Spotify, joining her 2008 album “I Am…Sasha Fierce” and her 2013 self-titled album.

The site also noted that Beyoncé is more connected to the Tidal streaming service as she has a portion of the ownership. However, she continues to see success from other competing streaming services.

She has yet to put her last album “Lemonade,” on Spotify, and it took her almost a year before she added her “Beyoncé” album to the streaming service following its release.

If that wasn’t enough, Beyoncé recently earned seven nominations for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards for her feature on J Balvin and Willy Williams single “Mi Gente.”
