The fourth night of Beyoncs ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour stop in New Jersey appeared extra special as one lucky fan was granted the opportunity to have Beyonc do their gender reveal for them. Yall know Bey loves a good gender reveal, having previously done one on the Renaissance tour in Germany. But it was really the creativity for us this time, with the expecting parents matching their gender reveal cards with the ‘CC’ aesthetic. Heres the lowdown
On Wednesday, May 28, Beyonc was in the middle of performing when a sign in the crowd caught her attention. In a clip posted on TikTok, the mom of three can be seen turning her head left and right as she tries to read the sign correctly. Firstborn, Carter, she said, indicating that the parents already had a boy. Siblings, gender reveal, the sign continued, prompting Bey to say, What, now? in excitement.
The crowd, clearly hyped for the reveal at MetLife Stadium, could be heard cheering before Beyonc interrupted, saying she was going to come back to it later in the show. Hold on, Ill be back. Ima do it later.
By the end of the concert, Beyonc made sure to fulfill the fans request by revealing the gender of the couple’s baby. I had to take my time, she said before grabbing the envelope, which said, Carter, firstborn, on the front. She apologized for her hands being sticky as she accidentally ripped through the envelope, partially tearing the paper with the actual gender reveal on it. Bey takes a second to look for the card before her mouth and eyes widen in surprise.
She turned the paper around, revealing the word CowBoy, with the Boy part written in blue. The reveal prompted fans to cheer in excitement for the couple, and Beyonc confirmed,Its a boy. God bless you, congratulations, and thank you so much for letting me be a part of it.
