Beyonce Says Whoever Conditioned Women To Feel Old Or Unhappy When Turning 40 Got It ‘F’d Up’

Queen Bey has spoken! Beyonce is opening up about turning 40 and she refers to this milestone in her life as “the best I’ve felt in my life.”

Bey penned a deeply personal message to fans Thursday night and shared it on her website at the close of Virgo season.

She thanked fans for their well wishes after she celebrated turning 40 earlier this month on September 4.

The mother of three has definitely spent a lot of time with family over the past month, dropping a string of photo dumps to her Instagram account, but she still found the time to handwrite a letter to her dedicated fans, and she’s letting it be known that 40 is not old!

“As Virgo Season comes to an end, I hope my fellow Virgos had great birthdays,” Beyonce began the lengthy letter. “I’m so thankful for every inspiring human who took the time to send me all the beautiful messages. I cried tears of joy and was covered in chilly bumps.”

Bey let fans know that she will cherish all of the videos, posts and well wishes she received forever.

“I’m grateful to everyone involved, especially the fans, for the time and level of detail it took to organize such beautiful tributes,” she wrote. “I admire and respect all of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Then her letter got a lil’ spicy, taking aim at those who try to make women feel old once they reach 40.

“Whoever tried to condition women to feel that we are supposed to feel old or unhappy when we turn 40 got it ALL THE WAY F’d UP,” she said. “This has absolutely been the best I’ve felt in my life. I’m so grateful to be GROWN, GROWN!”

She also acknowledged that fans have grown up with her since her time in Destiny’s Child.

“Most of y’all met me when I was 15, and we have grown up together. You bring sooooo much joy into my life.”

She ended the letter by saying, “I hope my art can continue to bring a little joy into yours.”
