Beyoncé Surprises Fans With ‘Club Renaissance’ Event In L.A., Which Sold Out In Minutes

While it’s no secret that Beyoncé‘s Renaissance album was a major hit among listeners, fans were surprised to see just how quickly an upcoming listening event sold out!

Beyoncé & Amazon Music Unveil ‘Club Renaissance’

On Thursday, the Beyhive got a surprise announcement about an event called “Club Renaissance.” A text alert directed fans to clubrenaissance.com, where they could learn more about the event.

Amazon Music’s Twitter account also shared a flyer online. According to the promo, Club Renaissance is going down on Saturday and Sunday. It’s described as a 21+ event where fans can “experience Renaissance in spatial audio.”

Amazon Music’s tweet also informed people that the Los Angeles-based event’s specific location would be announced to “confirmed guests” on Saturday.

To Twitter’s Dismay, Tickets Sell Out In Minutes

According to Variety, the hype surrounding Club Renaissance was so great that it sold out within mere minutes.

Understandably, disappointed fans who were eager to attend the event took to social media to express their frustrations. Check out what some people had to say down below.

Earlier Club Renaissance Events Were More Exclusive

Variety reports that the album’s New York City release party back in August, which was attended by numerous stars like Chloe Bailey, Normani, and Kendrick Lamar, was the first incarnation of the event.

Beyoncé later hit up a Paris-based Club Renaissance—which had artists like Doja Cat and Tyler, the Creator. Additionally, Parisians reportedly got the chance to win tickets through a social media competition.

Now, for the Los Angeles event, people actually got the opportunity to obtain tickets themselves, though it didn’t exactly work out for many.

Were you one of the lucky Beyhive members who managed to cop tickets to Club Renaissance? Additionally, what do you think about the event being so last minute, as well as it only being offered in L.A.?
