Whew! Not even Beyonc was ready for this surprisebut lowkey, she already knew what was up. During a recent ‘Cowboy Carter’ show, Queen Bey and Tina Knowles had the funniest reaction when they spotted a familiar fan in the crowd holding a sign that brought back memories. And lets just saythis wasnt his first rodeo.
During her Cowboy Carter showat Marylands Northwest Stadium, just outside of Washington, D.C., Queen Bey spotted a familiar face in the crowd holding a sign that read Anthony Cosby Hyphen Knowles” and for the real members of the BeyHive, this was THE inside joke comeback we didnt know we needed. Instead of ignoring it, Beyonc playfully acknowledged him onstage, saying, “I see you, cousin…husband,” sending social media into a frenzy.
Turns out, this isnt some new viral momentAnthonys been around since the “I Am…” world tour days, and the Hive has been in on the joke for years. Mama Tina even joined in on the fun, posting Anthony on her IG page and showing love like only she can:
“Well!! My [imaginary] son in law finally showed up again,” she wrote in a caption.
One thing about Bey and Miss Tina? They gon’ ride for the Hive and have a lil fun while doing it!
Fans ran straight to Mama Tina and Anthony Cosby-Knowles IG pages, dropping hilarious comments after his Cowboy Carter cameo. Some said hes earned a seat in the family section at this point, while others praised his dedication over the years. One things for surethe BeyHive loves him, and theyre treating him like honorary royalty!

In footage from that tours trailer and DVD, Bey holds the mic to him as he proudly declares himself as her husband, a moment that became an iconic fan highlight.
At the show, Anthony showed the singer his ID card. In turn, she confusedly asked, Are you my cousin? and he responded, Im yo husband!” The viral video then showed Beyonc playfully saying, “What’s my name?” to him confidently singing, “Beyonc! Say my name, say my name!” while earning a beloved spot in Beyoncs fan lore.
