Big Tigger‘s mugshot has been released as more details surface about what allegedly led to his recent arrest on battery and cruelty to children charges.
According to 11Alive, the outlet obtained an arrest warrant from the day Big Tigger was taken into custody on Saturday, June 21. Per the outlet, on that date, Tigger was taken into Fulton County Jail “for aggravated assault and cruelty to children in the third degree.”
Prior to this, on June 9, his wife, Alicia Brown, allegedly met with authorities, alleging that on the night of May, she and Tigger got into an argument in their bedroom. This, about texts messages between him and a woman he worked with. Tigger reportedly noted to authorities that the texts were received two weeks prior.
During the incident, Tigger allegedly called his wife “psycho” and told her he had deleted additional texts to prevent her from seeing them. Additionally, during the ordeal, Tigger began recording with his phone. Brown allegedly grabbed his phone, and Tigger tackled her, taking his phone, and allegedly leaving a small bruise on her hip.
“I will show you psycho,” Brown allegedly said as she got up and went into their home office, pulling a computer out of its plug.
At that point, Tigger allegedly approached her from behind, grabbed her arms, and pushed her out of the office. Furthermore, the altercation was captured on an in-office RING camera, and authorities reportedly saw Tigger shove Brown. This allegedly made her “fall headfirst into a door, causing a deep laceration over her left eye.”
11Alive reports that Tigger took his wife to an urgent care. He reportedly spoke on her behalf, and due to the severity of her injuries, medical officials contacted police. According to Brown, she did not speak to officials because she thought she would not be believed and was “afraid” of what her husband might do to her. Lastly, the outlet notes that the pair’s 13-year-old son was at home during the incident. This, reportedly prompted the cruelty to children charge.
Social media users entered TSR’s comment section with reactions to Big Tigger’s mugshot and the additional battery details.
Instagram user @nathanielonline wrote, “Crazy thing is. If you get in a argument in the house around children and the cops are called. The charges become cruelty to children. They do that just to put some wild shit on people’srecord smh”
Instagram user @noushiex3 wrote, “Pretty much she wasnt lying. He was texting the coworker and he is the cause of what happened to her face. Its on video Sounds like the case is closed.”
As The Shade Room previously reported, Alicia Brown sparked headlines earlier this month when she posted footage of her battered face. At the time, she captioned the video, “Someone ask my husband why my face happened #FrancescaAmiker.” However, Brown did not provide details on what allegedly occurred or when the clip was filmed. Additionally, a social media comment captured Brown accusing her husband of infidelity with Amikea.
Ultimately, Francesca Amiker, Big Tigger’s radio co-host, denied Brown’s apparent claims.
Subsequently, Tigger was named as a suspect in an ongoing assault investigation, per The Shade Room. This prompted Alicia Brown to come forward and state that she never called her husband an “abuser.”
Additionally, Tigger publicly denied the assault and cheating claims.
More recently, details about Big Tigger’s arrest surfaced, adding that he posted a total $10,000 bond to be released.
