Bobby Brown Jr. Passed Away After Reportedly Experiencing Flu-Like Symptoms (Update)

On Wednesday, it was reported that the son of Bobby Brown–Bobby Brown Jr.– passed away. It looks like his untimely passing was due to flu-like symptoms.

According to TMZ, a source connected to the family stated he was not feeling well.

“Bobby Brown Jr. was not feeling well in the days leading up to his death and he was experiencing flu-like symptoms … according to his family.”

The source also says that he did not have COVID-19, according to TMZ.

TMZ also stated the family says they are letting the authorities conduct an investigation into his death.

“Please keep my family in your prayers at this time. Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain,” Bobby Brown stated.

Law enforcement states no drugs were found at the scene and a toxicology test will be conducted. As of now, they don’t suspect any foul play.

Bobby Brown Jr. is one of Bobby’s seven children. His mother is Kim Ward, who Bobby dated off and on for 11 years before he got engaged to Whitney Houston.

As you may recall, Bobbi Kristina was on life support for several months before she passed away in July 2015. The coroner determined her cause of death was drowning in the tub following an accidental overdose.

Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown’s ex wife and Bobbi Kristina’s mother, also died from an accidental overdose in 2012, while in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Please keep Bobby Brown and his family in your prayers during this difficult time.
