Boosie & Marlon Wayans Share Messages About Drake After Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Show

The internet is still buzzin’ with opinions about Kendrick Lamar‘s Super Bowl halftime show performance, especially about how HARD he stood on his hate for Drake. He took shots with his jewelry choice, special guests, and most of all, the live performance of ‘Not Like Us.’ After the show wrapped, Boosie and Marlon Wayans weighed in on how Drizzy might be feeling after Dot doubled down on the beef in front of millions of viewers.

Boosie Speculates How Drake Feels After Kendrick’s Performance

It’s only been a day since the Philadelphia Eagles whooped the Kansas City Chiefs, and Kenny c-walked on Drake. On Monday (Feb. 10), Boosie made it clear on X that he hadn’t picked sides in the beef. He even gave Lamar his flowers with a lil’ side of how the show could’ve been better. ”

“CONGRATULATIONS TO K.LAMAR € GOOD PERFORMANCE BUT LOUISIANA HAD ENOUGH ARTIST TO DO THEY OWN LINE UP €Ÿ”IM GO SAY IT,” the rapper wrote.

In previous tweets, though, Boosie speculated about whether Drizzy feels betrayed after the Super Bowl show. He also said that if he was Drake, he’d never give anyone another feature.

“JUST IMAGINING HOW DRAKE FEEL AFTER BOOSTING SO MANY ARTIST CAREERS WITH HIS FEATURES ŸN THOSE SAME MFS AINT GOT SH*T TO SAY POSITIVE ABOUT THIS DUDE. THATS WEAK A** F**K TO ME€ON GOD, IF I WAS DRAKE NOBODY COULD EVER GET ANOTHER FEATURE FROM ME €#onbleek,” Boosie wrote.

If you missed it, Kendrick really went IN with his hate! He referenced the “a minor” lyrics in ‘Not Like Us’ by wearing a huge diamond chain with a lowercase “a” pendant. And while he censored himself from straight-up calling Drake a pedophile, as he does in the track ‘Not Like Us,’ he still kept the sentiment up on stage. He DID rap the lyrics about Drake allegedly liking younger, underage women. Lamar even referenced the Canadian rapper’s defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group over the diss record.

Additionally, Kenny brought out two of Drake’s ex-boos, SZA and Serena Williams. A few years back, Drizzy publicly pursued Serena but then repeatedly took shots at her after a relationship didn’t pan out. He’s even shaded her hubby, Alexis Ohanian. Well, Kendrick seemingly gave sis a prime opportunity to get her lick back by c-walking on the Super Bowl stage in a blue tennis outfit and poppin’ curls. Boosie weighed in on that part, too.

“SERENA GIVING HEARTBROKEN BY DRAKE VIBES €€ŸŸ,” he wrote.

Marlon Wayans Calls Drizzy His Friend In Tweet

Meanwhile, Marlon Wayans took a softer approach. It’s clear he watched the performance because, in the hours after, he hopped on X with a lil’ message. He didn’t elaborate on what he meant, but Wayans wrote, “Damn I gotta call and check on my n***a Drake.”

Despite Marlon and Boosie’s takes, it’s a bit slow on the celebrity reactions side as far as the beef goes. The performance, though? A-listers are 100% eating it up, too, including Chris Brown!
