Brittany Renner has shown off her new look while giving fans a peek at the process of updating her wardrobe.
Over the weekend, Renner took to Instagram to share a video. In the clip, she seemingly donned a black khimar. Fajr Noor reports that a khimar is a headscarf that covers “the head, neck, and shoulders” and is worn by Muslim women.
In the video, Renner spoke about receiving “signs” from the universe and encouraged her fans to heed them more often.
“It’s almost as if we’re waiting for this moment to feel ready you’re not gonna feel ready for something you’ve never done,” she explained. “That’s why you have to get pushed.”
Renner ultimately explained that she believes individuals need to trust themselves more when taking leaps of faith rather than trusting external circumstances.
Renner’s recent video appears to be the first time she’s taken to Instagram donning Muslim attire. Subsequently, her new look sparked immediate reactions from fans, which were shared in The Shade Room’s comment section.
Instagram user @marcus2braids wrote, “So is she Muslim now or she doing this for clout? Cause if its for clout its not coo”
On Sunday, August 4, Renner returned to Instagram with another video for her fans. Furthermore, she captioned the clip, “Wardrobe update! I am going to enjoy every moment of this walk of mine .”
In the video, she donned a red khimar and explained that she was “cleaning house.” Behind her, viewers could see huge piles of clothing on her floor and bed.
“Out with the old, in with the new. [I’m] manifesting a new wardrobe Inshallah!” she said.
Before concluding, Renner explained that she has “no idea” how this apparent transition will go for her. She revealed that she has “contactual obligations” to post content in her former attire, and she has to make ends meet financially.
Additionally, in the clip, she noted that her arms were not covered due to the hot temperature. Furthermore, she revealed that she may consider getting Botox in her underarms to keep her from sweating as she dons the Muslim attire.
Ultimately, Renner explained that she plans to find clothes that are “more aligned” with her new journey forward. She concluded the video by explaining that she just plans to “give” her “best” effort to her new commitment.
