Caitlyn Jenner has been a bit low key lately as the news of her transformation has settled but one thing is for sure the victims in the fatal crash caused by Caitlyn are still out for blood! According to People Magazine, a lawsuit was filed against Caitlyn last Friday by two separate families that were involved in the fatal car crash!
Grammy nominated music composer, Peter Wolf-Millesi is suing Caitlyn for damages as he claims that he along with his wife, Lea Wolf-Mill, Lea’s mother Elga Maurer, and two of their children were all in the car and suffered injuries from the accident. The Millesi’s are alleging that after Caitlyn’s car hit Kim Howe’s Lexus, her car then hit their car which in the end caused Howe’s unfortunate death.
Peter blames Jenner for “severe nerve damage to his wrists and hands” and “great physical and mental pain and suffering.” Lea is even claiming she is going in and out of the hospital constantly for orthopedic treatment. One of the children reportedly had to be taken to UCLA’s emergency room after the accident.
Jenner’s charges were dropped in September after police investigation revealed that she was driving below the speed limit and was “minimally slower” than Howe right before the accident. Jenner’s attorney were confident that no other legal action would taken after the news.
“We believed from the start that a thorough and objective investigation would clear Caitlyn of any criminal wrongdoing,” Jenner’s attorney Blair Berk told PEOPLE in a statement at the time. “We are heartened the District Attorney has agreed that even a misdemeanor charge would be inappropriate. A traffic accident, however devastating and heartbreaking when a life is lost, is not necessarily a criminal matter.”
Howe’s step-children filed a similar lawsuit for the death of their step-mother since police claimed that she died after her car was forced into oncoming traffic when Jenner hit her from behind. Officials say she hit her breaks after a Prius abruptly stopped in front of her for no apparent reason. Jenner has since filed papers in May to have that case thrown out but she also faces lawsuit from another woman involved in the accident who reportedly filed back in June.
Lets talk below, should Jenner pay up?
