Caitlyn’s Beef With Biden

The 74-year-old is a loyal conservative who transitioned in 2015. She took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to explain her grievance on Saturday, March 30.

“I am absolutely disgusted that Joe Biden has declared the most Holy of Holy days – a self-proclaimed devout Catholic – as Transgender Day of Visibility,” she said.

The Olympic Gold medalist added, “The only thing you should be declaring on this day is ‘He is Risen.'”

Social media immediately labeled her a hypocrite and ill-informed. The Transgender Day of Visibility began in 2009 and has been celebrated on March 31 every day since. Additionally, Jenner celebrated the holiday back in 2017.

“There’s no better visibility than with my sisters by my side,” Jenner wrote on X.

Tyrese Demands An Apology From Biden

Grammy-winner Tyrese was also up in arms about the holiday’s celebration on Easter, although President Biden did not establish it. Rachel Crandall Crocker started Transgender Day of Visibility over a decade ago. She is the co-founder of Transgender Michigan.

The controversial crooner publicly demanded an apology from the leader of the free world, who officially declared the holiday on March 29 to be celebrated on March 31, 2024 each year. It just so happens to fall on Easter this year. The date of Resurrection Sunday changes from year to year.

Biden stated it is important to acknowledge transgender Americans are part of the fabric of the US.

“Whether serving their communities or in the military, raising families or running businesses, they help America thrive,” the president stated.

He continued, “They deserve, and are entitled to, the same rights and freedoms as every other American, including the most fundamental freedom to be their true selves.”
