Integrated Marketing Manager



Reporting to the Head of Revenue, the Integrated Marketing Manager manages all branded content, and advertorial content B2B Marketing for The Shade Room revenue team.

To be successful in this position, the Integrated Marketing Manager must be proactive and comfortable working autonomously as a project manager bringing Sales products and sold executions to life. This person must be part creative and part sales, able to balance multiple departments’ needs for the company’s betterment. The candidate should also have experience working with ad sales and digital production teams. The candidate should understand and connect with black culture and have an instinctual level of social media IQ.


  • Implement, plan, and coordinate campaigns to align with marketing strategies.
  • Manage internal RFP process from creative development and execution through to optimization. This includes project management, Keeping track of deliverables and managing.
  • Champion the day-to-day management of the marketing campaign and ensure all elements are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Create campaign wrap decks with posting insights.
  • Develop internal processes that further streamline the growth and development of the ad sales marketing team.
  • Innovate around new, sellable social & digital products.
  • Liaise with Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, and our owned and operated to package all sellable products on each platform. Be the catalyst for social innovation by introducing new, sellable products to the sales team.
  • Create all sales assets for agency and client business.
  • Work closely with the Head of Revenue to strategically package different platform products together so that the sales process is both streamlined and has an optimal revenue flow without compromising the user experience for TSR.
  • Work closely with editorial and video teams to understand and influence the content that is being produced so that the sales team has an increasingly sellable landscape.
  • Create research material for the sales team that speaks to the differentiation of each platform and their coinciding audience.
  • Build a creative service team that will be capable of fulfilling all the advertiser partner support needs for TSR. This includes creation of final assets for all the social platforms as well as our Owned and Operated.
  • Create and execute consumer Marketing plans for TSR events, Content, and the Trades.


  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies, advertising, and sponsorships.
  • The ability to create marketing strategies that appeal to The Shade Room demographic.
  • Ability to supply creative ideas and concepts to create and improve current marketing campaigns and deliver impactful results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and market trends.
  • Full proficiency and intimate understanding of social media and the ability to translate that language and usage fluidly between all platforms.
  • Working Knowledge of the RFP Process and the digital media landscape.
  • Natural ability to create market strategies with skills to carry the idea all the way through to an externally ready sales asset.
  • Technical understanding of the digital assets, formats.
  • Flexibility in managing multiple responsibilities and assignments simultaneously; ability to meet deadlines; experience managing both urgent, short-term projects, and complex, longer-term projects. ​
  • Legal right to work in the US.


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or related roles, with exposure to integrated marketing within the media industry being a plus. PowerPoint, Sheets and InDesign experience. Experience Managing digital Productions. Experience managing employees. Experience and comfort presenting materials to large groups.


This is a full-time and exempt position. The pay range is $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 a year. Compensation will be based off of experience, knowledge, skill, local cost of living and other additional factors.
