Carmelo Anthony Breaks Down His Facial Expression & Viral “Risk It All” Photo With Rihanna
Earlier this week, a new episode of Anthony’s podcast, ‘7PM in Brooklyn,’ was released via YouTube. About an hour and twenty-eight minutes into the episode, Melo was asked to share “what was going on” in his viral photo with Rihanna at a 2014 event associated with the Met Gala.
In the flick, Melo is seen staring at Rihanna while she seemingly posed for photos.
To date, his expression has left social media puzzled, with some believing he was ready to “risk it all” for Rih.
“We already in there having a good time. Every time… a celebrity comes in, the cameras go crazy… Its commotion when you walk in there. I finally walk in, and get through the cameras, and sit down now I found my comfort zone, sitting down… trying to be low” he said.
At that point, Rihanna arrived, per Melo.
“Rih walks in [and] camera go crazy… All you see is white flashes,” he said. “And… theres only one area to go to, and Im like, ‘Please dont come over here.’ The flashes is going, so I put my head down, and I look up, and shes right there posing… And I’m like, ‘Really?'”
