Early Life
Born on July 30, 1968, in Flint, Michigan, Terry Crews was a good son and student. After graduating from Flint’s Southwestern Academy, Crews earned an Art Excellence Scholarship and a chance to become a student at the elite Interlochen Center for the Arts.
He developed an affection for sports at an early age, and it’s no wonder that he became a football player at Western Michigan University, after earning a full scholarship. He was an art major with a huge interest in sports. It was not before 1988 that things started happening for young Crews.
He became a part of the WMU football team and a major force to be reckoned with. His position as a defenseman earned him all-conference honors, and he got an opportunity to play on the 1988 Mid-American Conference champion Broncos.
The NFL’s Los Angeles Rams drafted Crews in 1991. He was in the best shape of his life, weighing 245 pounds at 6’2”. Crews stayed with the Rams for two seasons, but his NFL journey was just about to begin.
Crews played for various teams such as the San Diego Chargers (1993-94), Washington Redskins (1995) and Philadelphia Eagles (1996). During this time, Crews also played an entire season with the Rhein Fire, from Germany, in the World League of American Football.
During his long years in football, Crews used his artistic talents to collaborate with a national sports memorabilia organization and become an NFL-licensed lithographer.
Career
In 1997, Crews called it quits on his football playing and went on to become a TV show star. He did a couple of commercials and brief roles on some TV shows before scoring it big and appearing in The 6th Day alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.
This was his big-screen debut that launched Crews to stardom and opened many doors for his acting career. A string of smaller roles followed shortly after. He appeared in movies such as Serving Sara (2002), Friday After Next (2002) and Deliver Us From Eva (2003).
2005 saw Crews return to the small screen. This time, he was acting as the recurring role of Julius in a wildly popular TV comedy show Everybody Hates Chris. He had the privilege to work alongside Chris Rock and other prominent movie stars.
Since he became so popular, Crews got recruited for many movie roles and film parts. He appeared in White Chicks (2004), The Longest Yard (2005) and Norbit (2007).
These movies opened a whole new realm for Crews, and he began scoring bigger roles in some of the most popular movies on the planet, such as Terminator Salvation (2009), The Expendables (2010), and Bridesmaids (2011).
Recently, Crews is most known for his role on the hit TV show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

When it comes to Terry Crews and relationships, the handsome actor did his best to keep all the juicy details under the radar. The only thing we managed to find out about his love life is that he made an effort to reconcile with his wife, Rebecca.
They have been in love for most of their lives. Crews managed to overcome his problems with addiction and reconcile with the former beauty queen. Rebecca was also a Christian recording artist, and the two love birds have been married since 1990.
Rebecca and Crews have five children, four daughters, and one son. Aside from his wife, we have no further knowledge of his relationships.

Aside from dealing with addiction, Crews has been a role model to many. He rarely had any problems with the law, while his wife and children are all successful in what they do.
