Alexis Skyy Mcfarland was born July 14, 1994 in Long Island and grew up in Amityville, New York. Her parents are of Jamaican and Dominican origin, but she didn’t meet her biological father until she was 18 years old. Along with her brothers, Alexis was raised in Amityville by her mother and grandmother.

In January 2018, Alexis Skyy and Fetty Wap welcomed their daughter Alaiya Grace into the world. Alaiya Grace was born three months prematurely. She was diagnosed with a condition called hydrocephalus, which was the result of the pressure put on her head when she was born.
