Angela Renée White, better known as Blac Chyna, is a gorgeous model and passionate entrepreneur. Born in 1988 in Washington DC, she became famous almost overnight when Drake mentioned her in his 2010 song Miss Me.

Today she boasts over 15 million followers on Instagram, and her cosmetics company and clothing line are more popular than ever. But let’s take a look at how she got to where she is today.

Early Life

Blac Chyna enrolled at the Johnson & Wales University in Miami. She initially started stripping to pay for her college tuition but ended up dropping out of college after repeatedly dozing off in class. So, she focused on her stripping and modeling career instead.

Her unique looks quickly got her noticed in Miami, and after Drake dropped her name in his song, her modeling career took off. She was featured on the covers of DimepieceStraight Stuntin, and Black Men’s Magazine. Growing her social media following, she landed a gig as Nicki Minaj’s stunt double for the music video Monster.

2011 saw further growth of her career when she was named the Model of the Year at the Urban Model Awards.

Career

Blac Chyna appeared in Tyga’s music video for the song Rack City which eventually led to them getting together and having a son in 2012. That same year she got to work alongside Nicki Minaj again, featuring in her video for Come on a Cone.

Not satisfied with just a successful modeling career, Blac Chyna went on to graduate from JLS Professional Makeup Artist School, launch her own clothing line “88fin”, and launch a line of lashes called “LASHED by Blac Chyna”.

In 2016, she got together with Rob Kardashian and gave birth to their baby daughter that November. The couple split in 2017, however, but she continues to be a successful single mom.

In the News

Blac Chyna’s had quite a few dramatic relationships over the past few years, but none sparked more interest than her involvement with Rob Kardashian.

From having a kid together, to breaking up, to her filing a restraining order against him, their relationship was anything but simple.

Her fans and followers will be quite relieved to hear that, while they’re not getting back together, they’ve settled their differences and came to a custody agreement over their daughter Dream.
