Cassie Ventura entered the fantastic world of showbiz when she was just 14 years old. This versatile star has dabbled in everything from music to modeling.

Early Life

Cassie was born on August 26, 1986, and her full name is Casandra Elizabeth Ventura. Her mother is of Mexican, West Indian, and African American descent while her father is a Filipino.

Upon her relocation to New York City, after she finished high school, Cassie made her big comeback in modeling. She holds a minor in Psychology from UIW and a Baccalaureate of Arts degree in Sociology.

Career

Cassie was already well-known to the public even before she became a singer, but it was her music that really rose her to stars. Her debut self-titled album was highly critically acclaimed, paving her path to worldwide fame.

When record producer Ryan Leslie first spotted her, it was time for the next step in her career. He helped her with a debut, self-titled album. Once it was out, it quickly became a hit, peaking at number four on the Billboard 200 chart.

She has 13 music videos, 20 highly successful singles, one mixtape, and one studio album. She’s also an actress and has appeared in two films: The Perfect Match and Step Up 2: The Streets. Her monster hit single, Me & U, became a major hit instantly, earning Cassie an army of fans all over the globe.

Signed to One Management and Wilhelmina Models, Cassie made her appearances in popular magazines such as GQ and Bust. She also featured in many commercials for the likes of Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, and Clean and Clear.

Cassie has a brother named Rod. She has had an on-again-off-again romantic relationship with Diddy. According to the sources close to the singer, she recently reunited with Diddy in 2015, but the two are currently not together.
