Early Life

In 2005, Charlamagne tha God met the television and radio presenter Wendy Williams and started working with her. Here is where he established himself as a rather provocative radio host. His unique approach to interviewing the guests caused a rift between him, the guests, and Wendy, and the two eventually parted ways in 2008.

Afterward, Charlamagne tha God joined The Breakfast Club as a co-host and started working together with Angela Yee and DJ Envy.

Charlamagne tha God has appeared on the comedy shows Guy Code and Girl Code and had numerous other TV appearances. He hosts the YouTube series Emerging Hollywood, and in 2017, he published his book Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It.

Charlamagne tha God Relationships: Who Has He Dated?

Charlamagne tha God is pretty secretive about his family life and relationships. He prefers not to share too much on social media. He married his high school sweetheart Jessica Gadsden in 2014, and they have two children together. While he’s pretty open about his and his wife’s infidelity, his family life is mostly a mystery.

In the News

Rumor has it that there’s some tension between Charlamagne tha God and his The Breakfast Club co-host Angela Yee. The cause is his one-on-one interview with Gucci Mane (aka Guwop). Guwop attacked Angela, calling her names and taking jabs at her, while Charlamagne found the whole situation humorous. Rather than defend her, he just laughed it off. Is this a way to treat a coworker?
