Chloe Bailey is an American actress and singer who is well known for her role on the television series, “Grownish” on Freeform.
Chloe Elizabeth Bailey was born on July 1, 1998 in Atlanta, Georgia. She and her younger sister, Halle, were raised by their parents Courtney and Doug Bailey, in Mableton, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. In 2012, Chloe and her family moved to Los Angeles to continue pursuing her and her sister’s careers in acting and music.
Chloe Bailey tends to be private about her dating life. She was rumored to be dating the rapper and actor Diggy Simmons when the two were photographed together in 2020. However, in a recent Instagram live, Chloe stated that she is single and enjoying life as a single woman.
Chloe and her younger sister Halle make up the singing duo called Chloe x Halle. Chloe is a self-taught musician and is the main producer of the group. She has said she gets her inspiration from Grimes, Missy Elliott and Tune-Yards.
When Chloe was 13, Chloe and her sister Halle created a YouTube channel and uploaded a cover of Beyoncé’s song “Best Thing I Never Had.” The sister duo’s YouTube covers gained popularity, resulting in the two appearing on The Ellen Show in 2012. The sisters also made an appearance on the Disney television series, Austin & Ally in 2013. During their rise to fame from their YouTube channel, Chloe and her sister began covering more music, including Beyoncé’s “Pretty Hurts.” This cover caught Beyonce’s attention and the two made an appearance in Beyoncé: Lemonade, her visual album.
Chloe x Halle released their first EP, Uncovered, in 2013. Since then, Chloe x Halle have released two studio albums, The Kids Are Alright and Ungodly Hour.
Chloe’s most notable television role is on the Freeform television series, Grown-ish. Chloe plays Jazz Forster, one of the main characters on the show.

Chloe x Halle have won four awards throughout the years. In 2012, Chloe and her sister won “The Next Big Thing” award at the Radio Disney Music Awards. In 2020, they won the “The Rising Star” award at the Billboard Women in Music awards. At the NAACP Image Awards ceremony in 2021, the musical duo won the “Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (Contemporary)” and “Outstanding Soul/R&B Song” awards for their song “Do It.”

Recently, Chloe has created a separate Instagram account from her sister, starting rumours that Chloe x Halle may be ending and her and her sister may be pursuing separate careers.
