Future, born Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, was born on November 20th, 1983. Future was brought up in a family of hustlers that worked on the street. As a young teenager, he joined a rap group called The Dungeon Family along with his cousin Rico Wado, who was one of the founding members of the group.
This is where Future got his nickname, and his cousin saw the potential in him and motivated him to pursue a rap career and work on his lyrical skills. At the time, Future was attending Columbia High School and he decided to go for it and worked hard on his music. After some time, he left the group and started writing his own music.
Career
During 2010 and 2011, he released three mixtapes including True Story, Dirty Sprite, and 1000. These releases got Future a record deal with Epic Records and released another mixtape titled Streetz Calling. At the same time, he started working with Gucci Mane on their collaborative album called Free Bricks.
In 2012, he released his debut album titled Pluto and a song Magic which was the first to climb the top 100 positions in the Billboard chart. In 2014, he released his second album titled Honest, which featured artists like Drake, Rihanna, Kanye West, Ciara, and others.
In 2017, he released his self-titled album and released another album titled Hndrxx a week later. Both of these albums went number one, something that has never been done before.

Future’s personal life is extremely colorful. He has five kids all with different women. He never got married but was close in 2013 with Ciara. Although, she called it off because he was cheating on her. Both Ciara and Jessica Smith, mothers of his children, have sued Future – one for slander and defamation and the other for child support.
