Early Life
Curry was born on March 14, 1988, in Akron, Ohio. He comes from a basketball family, as he is the son of Dell Curry, who was also a professional basketball player playing for a variety of teams throughout his career.
His love for basketball started in his childhood, and he found the start of his fame through his notable college basketball career He has brought every team he has played for to success and caught the eye of the Golden State Warriors.
Career
The Warriors drafted him in 2009 on a five-year contract. Shortly after joining the Golden State Warriors, in the second half of his first professional season, he was named rookie of the year.
He finished his rookie season with 166 three-point shots, which is a record-setting amount. His success only grew from that point, garnering him numerous awards and getting multiple records in the basketball world, such as winning MVP two years in a row.
He is one of the most essential players in NBA history, revolutionizing basketball forever with his three-point method. He has inspired numerous teams and is universally loved for his comradeship and sportsmanship.

Curry has found himself in the news recently, having to take a break from basketball due to an ankle injury. This marks his second ankle injury, but Curry is reported to have made a full recovery and is back on the court. While he is prone to ankle injuries, he has stated that he has no intention of retiring any time soon.
