Charlamagne Tha God is entering the chat as the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion assault case resurfaces and while he didnt spell it out, his take made it clear where he stands. His commentary in a recent episode of ‘The Breakfast Club’ sparked conversation, as he questioned the new claims and pointed out the inconsistencies in the defense’s narrative.
In Tuesday’s episode of ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Charlamagne Tha God discussed the recent press conference held by Tory Lanezs legal team, where they claimed to have new evidence in the case. This prompted an emotional TikTok post from Megan Thee Stallion, where she fired back, saying, HE KNOWS HE DID THAT SH*T! Aint no new fu*king evidence.
Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence after being charged in connection with a shooting that injured Megan in 2020. However, his lawyers allege that Kelsey Harris bodyguard overheard her admit to being the shooter, prompting new commentary.
I can understand Megs frustration, though, he said. As I said, I think it’s strange a court case happened, due process, all the evidence that was presented in court; weeks and weeks of testimony and evidence. All that goes out the window, all because the driver allegedly heard Kelsey say something? That only makes sense on the internet, by the way,” he said.
He continued, pointing out the logic gaps in the theory that Tory was protecting Kelsey.
Why would Tory protect Kelsey? And if everybody says, ‘Oh, because he didnt wanna snitch!’ Okay, cool. But why would Megan protect her then?” he went on.
Social media lit up after Charlamagne Tha God shared his thoughts on the resurfaced Tory Lanez case, with users quickly dissecting his commentary. Earlier this week, Luna urged California Governor Gavin Newsom to review the case. Furthermore, she called attention to what she believes is a potential miscarriage of justice. As the legal drama continues to unfold, the call for Lanezs freedom is gaining momentum.
Meanwhile, things took another twist after Tory was reportedly stabbed 14 times, with both of his lungs collapsing. Unite The People held a press conference last week, revealing bodyguard Bradley James as a new witness. James allegedly overheard Kelsey Harris confess to shooting Megan Thee Stallion during a phone conversation, sending shockwaves through the case.
Following these revelations,Lanezs team launched a petition calling for his release, adding even more fuel to an already heated situation.
