Whew! Charmaine Bey is tugging at deep emotions in her most recent birth announcement post. That’s right, congratulations are in order for Charmaine and husband Neek Bey who welcomed their daughter Charli on February 12, 2022. According to the couple’s Instagram notice, this date marks the birthday of someone very special to Charmaine.

Remembering Charmaine’s Parents

“I can’t believe I gave birth on my heavenly mother’s birthday, Charmaine wrote in the caption under multiple hospital photos. “Greatest gift God could give me. Showing me that my parents still have their hands in everything involving my little family.”

Charmaine didn’t go into details about the passing of her parent(s) in this post. However, as previously reported, the former ‘Black Ink Crew: Chicago’ star loss her mother on October 23, 2019 while pregnant with her and Neek’s first child together, Nola Glenda Bey. She penned her ole lady a sweet note on Instagram in celebration of what would’ve been her 65th birthday.

“Happy Birthday to my mom!!! She would have been 65 today,” Charmaine wrote under a throwback photo of them together. “Ive spent all morning thinking of my best memories with you. You are the best angel.”

Charmaine’s father was diagnosed with stage four esophagus cancer in June 2021. Nearly two years after her mother’s passing, Charmaine’s father passed away in August 2021.

Another Bundle Of Joy

Along with the birth announcement, Charmaine and Neek shared photos from the hospital. Charmaine flashed a smile in two photos while holding her newborn baby girl in her arms. Meanwhile, Neek posed by leaning into the glowing mama and his sleeping daughter and also flashing a smile.

The married couple also shared a close-up look at Charli, who posed in a light pink hat while chomping away at her teeny fingers.
