Chief Keef Using Hologram To Perform At Benefit Concert, Chicago Priest Not Too Pleased!

Chi-town rapper Chief Keef is trying to do good by putting on a benefit concert.

The concert is for the family who’s toddler got struck and killed by a speeding car, that also happened to be the car that just left the scene of a drive by that killed his friend and group mate Capo.

Talk about a series of horrible unfortunate events!

Due to an outstanding warrant for his arrest, he came up with the idea to use hologram technology.

Although he means well with the concert, his checkered past is being put into question from Chicago activists. He faced major criticism from Chicago Priest and activist Michael Pfleger.

Pfleger thinks that Chief Keef plays a major role on the violence in the city! He said in a statement “Change starts from within. If he really wants the violence to stop, he needs to stop making that type of music.”

Pfleger continued his rant with  “Instead of having a concert…why doesn’t he Man Up and acknowledge it’s time to stop this violence and Apologize for his part in it!!!! we don’t need a concert…we need PEACE……7 DEAD and 24 SHOT this weekend and he wants to do a concert…..Chief Keef….SHUT UP!!!!!”

It looks as if Keef is trying to escape his past and be a positive influence in his community. Maybe losing his friend opened his eyes and  put things in perspective for him. He recently joined the “Stop The Violence Now Foundation” which helps raise awareness about gun violence in Chicago.

Roommates what do you think about this?

Let’s chat!
