Roommates, Chris Brown and Diamond Brownare back in legal headlines after a new custody filing has sparked tension between the two. While things initially seemed centered around co-parenting arrangements for their daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown, new court moves from both sides have shifted the conversation into a much more contested back-and-forth.
According to TMZ, Diamond Brown recently filed documents in Los Angeles requesting sole legal and physical custody of the couples 4-year-old daughter. In her filing, she also proposed that Chris Brown be granted visitation rights, marking a significant request in the ongoing custody discussions surrounding Lovely. The filing reportedly also included a request for Chris to cover her legal fees as the case moves forward.
Chris Brown has since responded with a different stance, pushing back against the request for sole custody. In his filing, the singer is asking the court to award joint legal and physical custody of their daughter instead, signaling his desire to remain equally involved in decision-making and parenting time. Chris is also requesting that each party be responsible for their own legal expenses, directly countering Diamonds earlier request that he cover her fees as the custody dispute continues to unfold.
