Chris Brown Reportedly Sues A Philippines Concert Organizer Who Attempted To Extort Him

Chris Brown is reportedly suing a concert organizer from the Philippines that claimed the singer owed him $300,000.

TMZ reports, that the “Privacy” singer claims he is being held up for $300,000 over a show that was postponed, and eventually made up at a later date. The situation first took place back in 2014 when the singer was forced to delay a New Year’s Eve show due to a misplaced passport.

The show was rescheduled for July 2015, and Chris fulfilled his commitments.

According to documents, Chris claims he was blocked from leaving his hotel the following day. A lawyer from the arena reportedly told the singer he would be arrested if he didn’t wire money to the trust of Jose Victor Los Banos Biongco.

Chris hired an immigration attorney and was granted clearance to leave. While on his way to the airport he was reportedly still receiving messages about the money.

Chris returned home safely from the trip, but now he is reportedly looking for Biongco to pay for emotional distress.
