Whew, Roommates! It looks like the tension between Chris Brown and Diamond Brown isn’t dying down anytime soon. Diamond recently set social media OFF after dropping a 10-minute video accusing Chris of allegedly neglecting their daughter, Lovely Brown. On top of that, she called out his other kids’ mothers, Nia Guzman, Ammika Harris, and Jada Wallace, for speaking on her and Chris’ drama. Now, Chris has entered the chat with his own thoughts on Diamond’s comments, and he didn’t back one bit!
On Wednesday, October 7, Chris Brown dropped a message on his Instagram Story. Fans immediately assumed he was throwing shade at Diamond Brown after he mentioned a 10-minute video and addressed claims of being bashed online. Breezy made it clear that he didn’t like being put on blast. He also claimed that Diamond’s video worked in his favor because she proved his point. “Stuck on stupid!” Chris continued, “Setting your camera on your phone up to record a 10 minute video bashing me ONLY TO LITERALLY PROVE MY POINT! Thank you.”
Diamond Brown had the internet on fire after she went OFF on Chris Brown, accusing him of allegedly neglecting their daughter, Lovely Brown, and failing to support her financially. She dropped her video after Chris claimed on his IG Story that she wouldn’t let him see Lovely. The singer also said they don’t split co-parenting responsibilities 50/50 because he handles all the financial support.
“Not allowing me to have time with my child so you can run with a false narrative to the court is disgusting,” Breezy added. “There is no 50/50 co-parenting. I LITERALLY PAY FOR EVERYTHING, her cars (2), her HOUSE, SCHOOLING, MEDICAL, and $10K a month.
Diamond quickly shut down his claims, alleging that Chris barely makes an effort to see their daughter. She also pushed back on his comments about their parenting arrangement. Although Diamond admitted she appreciates the house and cars Chris gave her, she made it clear that material things aren’t enough. According to her, Chris needs to put more effort into spending time with Lovely. “You wanna see your daughter? Figure it the f**k out! You figure everything else out, but you can’t figure that out. Come on Chris, come on,” Diamond said in the video.
Diamond didn’t stop there! She also addressed claims that she’s bitter over co-parenting issues with Chris and his relationships with his other kids’ mothers. Diamond said bitter is one thing she’s NOT because, according to her, everyone knows “Chris is for the streets.”From there, she went on to drag Nia Guzman, the mother of his eldest daughter, Royalty Brown; Ammika Harris, the mother of his son, Aeko Brown; and Jada Wallace, the mother of his youngest son, Arrow Brown. Her comments also prompted all three women to come to Chris’ defense in social media posts.
It appears that Chris and Diamond’s co-parenting drama stems from Diamond reportedly requesting $45,000 a month in child support. Per TMZ, Diamond claims she needs that amount to cover expenses for herself and their 4-year-old daughter. She argues that Chris should cover her rent and household expenses, which reportedly total around $23,000 a month. On top of that, she wants him to cover school, medical expenses, and extracurricular activities for Lovely, which she estimates cost another $20,000 monthly. Diamond acknowledged that Chris currently pays for her four-bedroom home, but she would prefer to upgrade to a more expensive residence. She also revealed that he does give her $7,000 a month in “spending cash,” but still she believes he should provide more financial support for her and Lovely.
